The role of the e-Commerce Pre-sales Manager is to generate the lead for the e-commerce domain via different channels with specific targets. The Pre-sales Manager is responsible for planning and implementing e-commerce sales strategies and tactics and aligning business and technology development efforts to foster growth and customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead generation activities via sales campaigns
- Planning of pre-sales strategies
- Implementing sales strategies
- Monitoring the performance of pre-sales
- Setting monthly & weekly pre-sales target
- Working closely with Sales to ensure successful closure of the sales process
- Maintaining customer relationships
- Scoping the client solution to enable accurate estimation of the effort
- Developing solutions and organizing, planning, creating delivering compelling proof of concept demonstrations
- Ability to understand and engage with both functional technical work-streams for pre-sales related activities
- Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm
- Responsible for end to end Proposal Collaboration i.e., Collaborating with Partners and pre-sales while Responding to Client Request for Information (RFIs) & Request for Proposals (RFPs)
- Support Marketing initiatives around creating white papers, Functional solution videos & campaigns on various social & industry platforms
- Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support
- Work Closely with the Clients, Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements
- Excellent Presentation skills with the ability to convey the concept and the solution with at most clarity and eloquence
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field required
- 5 to 8 years of experience in pre-sales, sales and lead generation
- Strong Problem-solving and Analytical skills
- Excellent Presentation and Communication skills
- Self-starter with ability to define and refine strategy for effective results
- Detail-oriented with an ability to ask the right question
- Time bound with an ability to manage key stakeholders
- Ability to understand business problem and map it to offerings accurately
- Self driven with the ability to close assigned tasks
- Experience in E-commerce, Web CMS, Campaign solutions
